we cant
believe its already that time of year again! it seems like it was just
yesterday when we were all shivering and splitting wood for the fire. but
now its hot and sweaty and everything is green.
saturday is shaping up to be a doozer. and it'll be really good to be back at the old location in virginville. Eckerton Hill Farm is in full swing, and on the hills above the filmfest are long long lines of really healthy tomatoes and beautiful
potatoes. these are the days of wine and roses (and cool DIY films made
by friends), the days from which you should milk every second;
because in like next january, these are the days you will miss so much!
if
you like eating meat, Jim Adkins will have you stoked. he's bringing
his cool homemade DIY smoker to the festival to serve up some BBQ and other
delicious stuff. just dont forget to bring your own beverages.
and
do not forget to bring tick and bug spray. out here we are completely
serious about ticks. we do not want anyone to suffer from lyme disease. please take precautions. and at the very least make sure to shower and check yourself no later than 24 hours after the fest.
you'll want to snag this year's shirt early before they sell out.
get here by like 7:30pm to insure you will get one.
and of course, be cool and support this year's VVFF sponsors. support local economies and support your friends' businesses.
AND
when driving through PA Dutch country to the fest, why not listen to
these songs? with the windows down and the summer breeze whipping your
hair in your eyes, because its summer and it wont last forever
